"FAMILY FIRST" services
Beginning with our first service of the new year on January 3, 2010, the first Sunday of each month has been designated "Family First" Sunday. The youth of our congregation will read the scriptures to us, carry the chalice, and benefit from a special kid-friendly sermon. This is a wonderful opportunity for our children to become more fully a part of the whole church family, and to begin their own tradition of service to the Church.
Child care will now be provided in the "cry room" adjacent to the chapel, no longer in the hall next door.
Coming soon... Sunday School! Plans are in the works to provide Christian education to our children during Sunday services. If you would like to help, please contact Rev. Kathy. Check back for more info.
The Rev Dr Michael Vono
selected Bishop of the Diocese of the Rio Grande

On April 24, representatives from St Francis and all of the Episcopal churches in the Diocese of the Rio Grande met to select a new bishop. This is a key decision in determining the future of the Episcopal Church in the region! The Rev Dr Michael Vono will be consecrated in Albuquerque on 22 October 2010, details to follow when available. All are welcome, so please make plans to attend.
